When our groom-to-be from Hong Kong contacted me to document their autumn adventure in the Italian Dolomites, he told me he was actually looking for a scenic surprise proposal session. It was an already planned visit to the Dolomites. What she didn’t know was that he had been planning something much more – a surprise kneel-down proposal in the middle of Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi).

The Moment She Said “Yes”
We chose the most panoramic spot, where I was secretly waiting for the couple. I kept my camera ready, pretending to be a random tourist admiring the views.
They arrived smoothly, then, as she turned to admire the landscape, he got down on one knee.
Her gasp. His smile. The wind brushing through the grass.
It was intimate, emotional, and completely real.
She said YES — with teary eyes, laughter, and a tight hug that made time stop.
